Andrew J. Mallon has an extensive background in government services, including first-chair litigation and counseling experience for public entities. Prior to joining Drewry Simmons Vornehm, LLP, Mr. Mallon served as the Director of Elections for the Marion County Election Board. He oversaw all aspects of administering elections in Marion County Indiana, including public contract negotiations and drafting, election law compliance, operations management, public relations and legal counseling for the Election Board and Marion County Clerk. Prior to the Election Board, Mr. Mallon served as counsel for the City of Indianapolis/Marion County through the Office of Corporation Counsel. He represented numerous city and county agencies in various types of litigation including federal and state constitutional law, land use and zoning, construction, property taxation, civil rights, First Amendment, injuries, environmental/toxic torts, and election law. Mr. Mallon also counseled city and county officers and agencies, including the Department of Metropolitan Development, and the Office of the Mayor.
